Highest Frequency Records is set to relase the Erik Rabasca’s solo debut, New Scrolls, on June 5, 2026 via Bandcamp. It’s his most focused and personal work yet — a fully-realized rootsy voyage through country folk & swing where classic roadhouse grit meets intimate storytelling, drawing on the lyrical spirit of Dylan, Marley, and John Prine. The eight tracks presented here cover themes that balance mindful existence with the hereafter, energy and form, looming death and the will to live, New Scrolls shares hard-earned wisdom with weary optimism. 

Recorded at Highest Frequency Studio in Stamford CT, mastered by Davey Diamonds of the Colorado Recording Society in Lyons, CO, this album sounds alive with earthly and other-worldy tones comfortably sitting side by side with heady lyrics delivered through easy and momorable melodies.
