New Scrolls Debuts on Americana Music Association Album Radio Charts

“Write new scrolls that last for centuries”

Erik Rabasca’s solo debut, New Scrolls, dropped on June 5, 2026 via Bandcamp, Soundcloud and YouTube with other streaming services to follow over the summer. In it’s debut week, New Scrolls charted at #165 on Americana Music Association Album Radio Charts. For a small indie to chart with the names you’ll see in their top 50 list is exciting to say the least!

Reviews are coming in from real humans who actually spend the time to listen, contemplate and write without using AI. The underground likes us! And this is proving to be an album for album lovers. Here’s some of what is being said with links to full reviews including insightful track by track observations and insights:

“New Scrolls is album thats sounds so natural and organic. Rabasca never appears interested in chasing trends or modernizing these styles for the sake of relevance. He trusts the material, and that trust pays off. The album remains engaging from beginning to end because the songwriting consistently delivers. New Scrolls is a thoroughly accomplished collection of Americana and country folk songs that showcases a songwriter with a clear voice and a strong command of his craft. Highly recommended.” - Recording Artists Guild

“Erik Rabasca’s New Scrolls is the work of a songwriter who has spent enough time paying attention to the world to know that most answers are temporary…There is no attempt to disguise the message behind layers of abstraction. He says what he means and trusts the songs to carry the weight…an album that values wisdom over novelty and substance over fashion.” - The Sound Won’t Stop

Pitch Perfect TOP ALBUM "Love Resounds" is perhaps my favorite track for its rich arrangement, crystalline guitars and amazing harmonies (by Denise Jones). The final song is a live track "Try A Little Kindness" featuring The Connecticut Hope Collective. No, this is not that Glen Campbell song, nor is it "Try A Little Tenderness" but I daresay it's almost as good as both those classics. Americana and country and even folk lovers may well love these songs by Erik Rabasca!” - Dino DiMuro
